Local & World Missions Outreach of Greenwood Baptist Church
The great heartbeat of God is reaching the lost world with the Gospel. The last command Christ gave during His earthly ministry was the Great Commission of Mark 16:15. We endeavor to make His last command the first priority of the Church.
God has greatly blessed the missions outreach ministry of our church. Currently, through Faith Promise, we help support 28 missionaries and ministries in the US and countries around the world. The missionaries we support are all sent out by independent Baptist churches to win the lost to Christ, to establish other New Testament Baptist churches, and to train those they have won to Christ to do the same.
Our annual Faith Promise Missions Conference has become a highlight here at Greenwood. We have the opportunity to meet missionaries and hear great preaching that stirs our hearts for the lost. Our Missions Conference is scheduled to be in September.
